My compassionate, unique and integrative approach to psychotherapy combines the benefits of regular, structured therapy sessions with art therapy, offering you a bespoke course of treatment at all times. It is an act of bravery to feel your feelings

I have always been captivated since childhood by the power of how somebody’s life could be changed by simple acts of kindness. I also saw myself in the throes of trauma for a long time, due to my father’s chronic illness and later death. My own past experiences with anxiety and agoraphobia instilled in me the need to understand everything more deeply. Thus, this drove me to study Psychology and further effective treatment methods.

This is where EMDR therapy comes in. I found within a profound yet delicate path towards emotional healing and self-regulation, so I decided to specialize in it in order to be able to help others from my own vital experiences. I strongly believe in the importance of understanding and navigating our own emotions if we really want a long-lasting, steady recovery.

My passion for psychology goes beyond theory; I aim to provide a safe space full of empathy, where anybody can explore their emotions, overcome their challenges and find their inner sanctuary.

The inclusion of art therapy in my private practice allows for creative freedom in all kinds of emotional self-expression, facilitating the therapy process to run smoothly.

My professional experience was initially oriented towards the treatment of anxiety disorders and self-esteem inner work in adults, later focusing towards younger ages, such as children and teens where I had the opportunity to treat anxiety, depression, social work and provide ADHD counselling.

As time went by, I decided to set up my own private practice after training and focusing more in trauma and attachment models after experiencing that everything else did not work in a deeper, yet gentler way, with special relevance in those cases of greater complexity.

At present, my longer-term plans are to undertake further trauma training aimed at younger populations (children and teens).
